About this blog

Years ago, I realized people often told me things they didn’t want others to know. This got me into jams at times, until I realized there was a constructive use for an otherwise meaningless talent.

As a freelance writer, I’ve developed contacts and sources who trust me to hold their confidences, when necessary, and to tell their story fairly when conviction motivates them.

I’ve spent a decade freelancing for the Boston Globe, the Boston Business Journal and some national publications, and still love every minute of the hunt for news and the thrill of my byline on a page.

This blog is my foray into a more independent approach to news and feature writing, but it will continue to follow journalistic principles and ethics.
